At the start of the year, Hussein HARB joined the LISA team as VP of Engineering and Production.
After being a structural engineer at Gulfstream Aerospace for 7 years, Hussein was responsible for aerostructures at ICON Aircraft in the United States. As one of ICON’s first employees, Hussein supported the rapid development and ambitious goals of the California-based company. As manager of the design and stress team, he managed the development all the aircraft’s composite parts up to certification and industrialisation.
Passionate about innovation and always looking for new challenges, Hussein chose to join the LISA team to combine his skills and his past experiences with LISA’s. The opportunity to work on a unique aircraft and bring revolutionary technology to industrial maturity represents an exciting challenge for him. His technical and industrial expertise, his aviation experience and his leadership, coupled with his knowledge of the US market, ideally complete the historical team in guiding the AKOYA towards its certification and first deliveries.
The LISA team, while remaining in the French Alps, is internationalising itself. Four different languages can now be heard in the LISA offices on a daily basis, to the team’s delight!
